Carpenter Lake Nature Preserve

The 42-acre preserve is home to an abundance of wildlife. As a nature preserve, the park is intended to be completely passive while encouraging public enjoyment of nature, providing a pleasant place to walk or fish, and to educate the public about the native plant and animal community. Interpretive signage along the trails educates the public about nature in the park including vernal ponds, deciduous forest and lake ecology.
